Quick And Easy Halloween Crafts For Kids

It’s Fall y’all! This post is definitely overdue. The weather is FINALLY changing here in Alabama, so I’m officially in the Fall spirit. With Halloween right around the corner, the girls and I came up with a few quick and easy Halloween crafts for kids to try. No instructions or long paragraphs necessary.

Halloween crafts for kids

As I stated before, these are going to be quick and easy crafts. So easy, my three-year old rocked them with little to no assistance.

Apple Pumpkin Stamping

Cut the apple, paint the apple, and stamp the apple. Seemed simple enough until we couldn’t get the whole apple to stamp. I had to channel my inner Andy Warhol to paint the rest of the apple pumpkins.

Halloween Plate Painting
Halloween CraftsI just want to point out that I am not the arts and crafts type, but having children will make you want to try anything at least once.  All you need is paper plates, paint, glue, and construction paper. Oh, and a visual aid . . . gotta have the visual aid.

I couldn’t get the girls to take a picture with the Pumpkin King. Apparently, he wasn’t cute enough for them.

Cotton ball Ghost

Our cotton ball ghost looked a little funny.  Good idea, poor execution.

Halloween crafts

We tried one without the cotton balls. If you’re a 90’s baby like myself, you remember playing Pac-man. I’m pretty sure our friend here is related to one of the ghosts in the game. At least he’s happy.

I honestly, don’t see how some moms get their kids to sit still long enough to do 20+ crafts. My two were pretty much done after the apple stamping.  Until next time . . .

Love this! We are having a get together with our family for Halloween this year (which includes touring all the insanely cool decorated houses in our town!) and this is just perfect for the little ones to do when we get home!
